A concrete step towards sustainability: TIAC’s photovoltaic system in collaboration with Eni Plenitude
TIAC takes a significant step towards environmental sustainability with the installation of a new 230.26 kW photovoltaic system at the Bollate (Milan) plant.
The project, realised in collaboration with Eni Plenitude, represents a concrete commitment to reduce energy consumption from fossil fuels and promote energy efficiency.

Project data and goals
The system is designed to cover an important part of the company’s energy consumption, with an estimated production of 259,077 kWh in the first year. Through this initiative, TIAC aims to reduce its environmental impact with long-term concrete
The impact on environmental sustainability is written below:
- Emission cuts: an annual reduction of 122,802 kg of CO₂ is expected, equivalent to over 2,256 tonnes of CO₂ avoided over 20 years;
- Fuel savings: the plant will save approximately 48.45 TOE (Tonnes of Oil Equivalent) per year, for a total of 890.41 TOE over 20 years.
The adoption of this technology not only reduces harmful emissions, but also promotes a sustainable energy model, contributing to the transition to renewable sources. Choosing to install a photovoltaic system makes it possible to:
- Reduce the use of fossil fuels;
- Minimise emissions of harmful gases such as CO₂, SO₂ and NOₓ;
- Promote a more environmentally responsible corporate culture.
A strategic partnership with Eni Plenitude
Thanks to the support of Eni Plenitude, a leader in sustainable energy, TIAC has been able to develop a cutting edge plant, integrating advanced technological solutions with a measurable long-term positive impact.
This project is just the first step in a wider commitment to innovation and sustainability. TIAC will continue to invest in environmentally friendly solutions, with the aim of reducing environmental impact and contributing to a green and more responsible future.
