The “extremely porous” structure allows machining with high removal cycles, which is unthinkable with a traditional grinding wheel. The uniqueness of the porous structure applied to the resinoid bonded grinding wheels creates a perfect combination, where the elasticity of the resin bonded wheels combines with the open structure, giving the wheel a self-sharpening power and increasing its stock removal capacity.
The Poros grinding wheel is capable of withstanding very violent roughing operations. With above-average pass speeds.
