This product line, called POROS, is the only resinoid grinding wheel with an extremely porous surface that allows considerable stock removal operations, reducing the number of passes and and working time, and enabling production speeds significantly higher than the competition.
With more than 70 years of experience in the manufacture of grinding wheels for the centreless grinding sector, our technical staff have been able to develop a new line of products able to satisfy the market’s ever-changing needs.
Thanks to its self-sharpening capacity, grinding wheel dressing cycles are significantly reduced.
In the field of centreless grinding, grinding wheels with POROS technology are best used for grinding bars after straightening, peeling and rolling operations. They are used on materials, in various formulations, ranging from the most common carbon steels to martensitic and austenitic stainless steels.
